Khasaa from Mongolia

The text is about a young boy named Khasaa who lives on the streets. His father disappeared and his mother died shortly after. At first he stayed at an orphanage but he got bullied by the staff and there wasnt enough food so he decided to run away. He had a hard tim surviving at first but he got some help from another homeless man. During the summers he sleeps down by the river and he loves that but durng the winter he has to stay either in sewers or in some open stairwell. He likes to sit with his friends on the main square and talk about stuff and listen to the music from the shops. He do miss his family and feeling safe all the time but at the same time he likes the feeling of being free.

We learn that Tacey is serving a five year sentence and that she gets out when shes 20 years and 4 months. She doesnt know if shes sorry or not about what she did she also doesnt know why she did it.

We learn that Mandy considers to stop writing because shes not sure that a real friend would ignore it when she talks about such big problems as her brother Steve.

Tracey feels that shes missing out on her best years while shes looked up in prison.

Mandy feels that shes becoming a darker and more depressed person after reading Tracys letters.

Mandy is scared that Tracys one day will show up on her doorstep full of tattoes and piercings and expect to stay there.

In this part i think that Tracys is using a softer approach than earlier. I think that she started to open up a bit. 

Their relationship is built over time as they start trusting each other a bit more.

The Jinxed Basketball Game

The text is about a girl named Ursula who doesnt really care about anything but basketball. Her team is having a big game against their rivals Tarrytown. Ursula is the star on the team and during the game she is the only player that performs wich makes it very dificult if even possible to win a game. Ursula isnt happy with the fact that they havent drawn as big of a crowd as the boys team even do they ar better than them. Not even her mother showed up even do she kinda promised that she would be there.

Tracy is quiet and reserved and she suffers from anorexia. Mandy is short and she believes in god.
Mandys relationship to her parents isnt the best since they doesnt listen to her when she tries to explain that Steve is violent. And her relationship to her brother is bad since shes afraid of him because hes violent and hits her sometimes.
